On May 5th it was my Mom's birthday. I made her a delicious butter pecan cake with carmel crunch in the center. I enjoyed making the thin carmel ribbons and the smash them into millions of pieces. It was very yummy, she ate the whole slice and she licked her plate clean. GOOD TIMES!
